well i like that this pump . pump a lot of water, but it can't be put under water it get damage,water gets in side so here what iam trying to say, a picture

This really worked well at first. The impeller melted from the shaft after a year.

I purchased 2 of these pumps for a 38 Carver on May 6th. On Sept 7th one of the pumps quit from a melted plastic impeller on the motor shaft. The motor still spins buy impeller does not, so it will not pump water. First thing I thought, is that something got stuck in the pump. There was nothing in it, the bilge of this boat is spotless and the factory red plastic screen was installed with the pump. Warranty is up. Other pump still works, but after this failure I cannot depend on the second one. Looking at the price I guess I knew what I was getting into.

Worked for less than 2 months and suddenly stopped working. Power to the unit, but nothing is happening. I recommend going with a bilge that has a manual override option on the pump. One I had for my previous boat was automatic, but had a dial so I could manually activate the pump. This pump doesn't offer that option.

Arrived on time and installed very easily. Tested it and the auto-start works as advertised. I can't comment about longevity, but it appears to be very well constructed and the wiring easy and the correct size. I think there is about 2 feet of wire that is attached, so plenty to make a connection to existing wire runs.

Exactly want I needed. Old Bilge wore out. This one took its place. No Automatic Switch needed, it is built in. Very nice construction. Easy to follow instructions. Would purchase again.

Pushes water out of the bilge great! This is a secondary Bilge for me and works great. My other one has a separate float so this being built in was what I was looking for as I didn't have enough room for that brand. Will see how long she works, mine arrived with 2 screws on top not fully screwed in so I didn't give it a 5 star, 4 turns and she was sealed but I always inspect new stuff.
