The ladder deploys at an angle away from the boat making it easier to climb without having to push forward to get your feet on the lower rungs. The 4 steps make it deep enough to mount easily. The center bar at the top is a great hand hold until you get high enough up to reach boat mounted handles. The foot pads are comfortable with bare feet.

This is not the best picture, but it shows the new ladder firmly mounted on the swim deck of my boat. I had to modify the mounting hardware slightly to use my factory ladder mounts, but it wasn't hard to do and fits well. The product is very well made and works better than expected. I would highly recommend this to anyone who needs a new boarding ladder.

Really like this product. Fells super heavy duty. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the angle. It doesn't go straight down. It goes down at an angle and for a tall pontoon boat I wish it was straight down as I need the depth.

worked great for my purpose. It is sturdy and very useful. It telescopes easily and helps us and all of our guests easily enter the boat after a swim around.I would recommend this product if you are looking for a swim ladder of this kind.
