The latest version of our Amarine-made Macerator Pump. It now has a fully sealed motor, a more powerful motor, a new Quad-Blade chopping design, and an innovative easy-clog removal feature. The sealed motor consists of o-ring sealed end bells, sealed bearings and a hard powder coating to prevent corrosion.
This Amarine-made 01-Series DC Macerator pump is designed specifically for Marine and RV sanitation waste applications and also fish box and livewell evacuation.
The bait / fish deposits, particles of ice, fish scales and anything else that could potentially be found in the fish-box will be easily passed buy this Macerator Pump.

Used this pump on my boat for my fish box and it stopped working after few months. The only time the pump was used was to clear soapy water that got into the fish box after washing the boat. Never actually went fishing during the time so it was only clean water being pumped. The pump was turned on maybe 12 times again to clear clean water out of the box and still stop working. Tried going thru Amazon because it was less than a year but they gave me number to the company to call and no one picks up. My suggestion is to go to west marine for pumps if you have one close or online. Their customer service is great if something like this happens.

Says self priming to 5 feet. Nit even close. Pump has to be at the same level as the liquid.Once primes it pumps well, and current draw is less than stated, which is good. But can only lift a few inches to a a foot.

This Macerator works great, and in my opinion it's better than the more expensive Macerators. Biggest problem is when people throw stuff into the Toilet that they are not supposed to. Also you must use the Macerator once in a while to keep it from sticking. I do like the manual Screw in the back of the unit, to manually get it going again. Also it's important to make sure you keep some water in your black water tank, to keep it from evaporating. This will help the Macerator work better. Also, we tell our customers to only use RV Toilet Paper, and no Wipes.

Since diassembly is easy, pull the motor apart before installing this pump and coat the insides of the motor in a corrosion protectant, then reassemble and install. It's good extra protection since these are usually installed in high corrosion areas.

I am not sure why it suddenly lost power & the motor had a hard time running then would die (stop turning & just hum) & the AMPs would shoot right up as it hung. Pumped grey water only, the macerator blades had some hair wrapped around them but nothing serious. Noticed too that the pump initially would not start since the housing was bolted down a little tight. Loosened the bolts a bit until they were just snug & the impeller (rubber) spun freely. Going to look for something else now for my needs :(

I put in a Jabsco last year in my boat and it failed in about a year and never seemed to work properly as it would turn on and off intermittently, I thought it was my power supply and fiddled with it for a year, Removing cleaning replacing it all in the confines of a very small space. This new one worked perfectly and for less than 1/2 the price of a new Jabsco so I bought 2 of them, I now have a spare on board just in case but I don't think I will ever need it! I may just use the spare as a washdown pump for the boat. Pretty happy with my new macerator.

This pump is a great replacement for the “brand named” macerator pumps. However, it would only pump a trickle of water, not the 12gpm as stated. I disassembled the pump and found the inlet and outlet ports were not aligned between the blade side and the impeller side of the pump. There are nubs to set the alignment, but the bolts on the pump casing will install whether the pump casing is aligned with the nubs or not. It looks like the worker at the factory had a bad day and did not assemble it properly. After I reassembled the pump, it pumps great...however, the customer should not have to install, uninstall, reassemble the pump, and then reinstall the pump on the boat. One trip upside down in the bilge was enough.

I’ve use this item for about six months of course I’ve only missed read about three times it arrived on time easy install and so far it’s worked absolutely fantastic
