Does not smell like a sweet or natural vanilla scent. Smells like tincture of benzoin mixed with concentrated vanilla extract. In use, the dilution in the fog machine does not make it any better. I would not recommend this.

I purchased this item somewhat sceptical as to its usability. I just purchased my first fog machine and I did not know if this scent would transfer to the fog very well.I added one bottle of the vanilla scent to 4 litres of dense fog juice and I was very impressed. It not only masks that weird fog machine smell but it smells exactly like you are standing beside a cotton candy machine at a carnival. It is just the right concentration as it is not too strong when added in the recommended amount.I will be sure to try the other scents as this is a great product

This stuff is great, though I'll admit I might even like it more if it was stronger. I don't really see how people think this bottle is too small, I do hope y'all realize that this stuff is good for 4 quarts or a gallon of fog juice, a gallon of fog juice isn't gonna go quick my dudes. I paid $5 for this. I used 1/4 of it in my quart of fog liquid and it's going to take like 3 weeks of using this fog machine every day to go through a quart. That's an extra $1.25 per quart of liquid that usually costs like $15 anyway. No idea how y'all can complain about this.

Used this at a party this weekend and I did get an artificial smell of vanilla. But It is also a really small bottle for the price. I'd probably be happier about the purchase if the amount of the product was larger.

Seriously great, and just what you need if you are using a fog machine in the house. The scent isn't strong, but you can probably make it stronger with more in the mix. It was just a soft scent, but honestly I just wanted to cover up that musty scent that comes from a fog machine indoors. Worked great!

Ahhhh, like inhaling the smell of warm sugar cookies!!! Read some studies on the vanilla scent (not just fog/smoke machine based), but in general, and you'll read that it has some powerful effects and its preferred by many. I like this scent because it has an even and predictable intensity that I've never received complaints on.
