I order twice and only received 1 pack of 2, not 2 packs. Be sure to count what you get.Quality wise, the mantles are fine.

The Double tie Mantles are just what I needed. American Mantle makes good Mantles. Only problem is it is suppose to be two packs of two mantles and Amazon only sends one pack at a time. Make sure you get your whole order.

Great price, fast shipping, and it worked better than Coleman in my opinion. It was very sturdy as well, used it one night and then backpacked with the lantern the following day and it held together no problem.

I had to cut the string to be able to slide it over the lantern. Once it was on there I lit up the lantern without issue. Worked as expected.

My wife and I were headed out on a long fall camping trip to Yellowstone National Park. I only had one mantle for my lantern and I knew if that quit I would literally be in the dark at night. It was impossible get the mantle locally, or at a store on the way so my only option was to see if it could shipped to the Park Post Office. Not knowing if that was possible I emailed American Mantle and asked if they could do it. They emailed back and said they did not know but that they would check it out. Very quickly I received another email saying they could do it and giving me the correct address. One day while at the Park We came back from a hike and there was a note on our little camper to go to the Park Office. We went to the office and the women at the desk had the package for us. She said they were all quite surprised as this was quite unusual and had never happened before. They were very happy that it all worked out and we were happy to have our back up mantles. Our one mantle lasted the rest of the trip so we did not need the spares but it was comforting to know we had them. Love American Mantle! John and Sally , Seattle Washington
