Because someone shoved these into a soft mailer and they arrived bent and crushed. You have to wonder about the state of common sense in the USA. Very obvious that these were fragile, though made of aluminum. Trying to push, bend, stretch these into shape because I need them NOW. FWIW plastic bag notes that they are shipped flat and you must bend them back. It does not warn that since they are that maleable they need protection.

These were the perfect replacement for the old and greasy filters. The location for the bend was well marked and creased ready to bend at 90 degrees. They make our stove hood look like new.

So happy I was able to find filters that fit our older model range hood vent! Order comes with two filters precrimped, shipped flat. It was pretty well packaged and labeled as fragile on both sides. One corner was slightly bent, but was easy to bend back into place.

This item arrived bent and mashed. It is so flimsy and bent out of shape that I am not able to install it in my hood. Very disappointed.
