For some reason one of the caps were missing from my toilet and ordered theses replacements. It was a perfect fit for my late 90s American Standard toilet and same color as the original one on the other side. I did not even have to remove the bolt (which looked rusted) and bottom washer where the new cover just snapped on.

Don't waste your money even though its not much. I tried these on two different toilets: American Standard and Kohler.It doesn't even come close to working on either one. Both toilets have the same type of screws/nuts and this product doesn't attach to them at all. See my pic. There is some plastic piece that is used to attach the cover that doesn't fit over the screw or the nut on the toilet. I was expecting something with threads to screw on or fit over the entire thing. Was missing the base caps, just unscrewed the bolt, put the bottom piece under it, put bolt back on and the cap fits nicely. Better look having the caps on! Thanks!

These caps fit my toilet perfectly and look nice. However, they are not porcelain but plastic, which I was surprised about. It fits my needs.

I had to cut the bolts on our American Standard toilet, but once I did that they installed perfectly with the base under the nut and the cap covering everything beautifully! It looks much nicer and will be easier to clean!

I bought two sets of these for two different brand/style toilets. One used the plastic pieces inside and the other just used the caps. They are a secure fit for each. My cat is not able to bat it off and lose the caps! Love that!
