Bought a renovated house that had two of these - what this unit is replacing. Kind of hip with no touch. But then, try getting it to flush twice without a 5 minute pause between. Or try replacing the battery unit that corrodes in about 4-6 months. Hours scouring the internet for replacements, constructing my own improvised devices - much time on finding and testing parts. And lastly, no response from American Standard seeking replacement parts. Buy Toto. As an architect, I will never spec American Standard. This is probably on the second time in my life writing a negative review, but it is well deserved.UPDATE! Now have removed the 2 American Standards I had and had to saw the corroded fasteners through a tiny hole. Near impossible to unscrew poking in with a screwdriver 1/3 turn at a time trying to hold the bold from spinning to get enough clearance to saw it off. Fortunately I had a multi-tool with a blade long enough and flexible enough to get through the hole and saw the bolt off. Again, move on to another manufacturer - particularly if you want any response to issues.

Wonderful replacement for a 3 year old American standard activate flush toilet . It is same principle and operation just a new improvement upgrade that is available on Amazon. Saved buying a complete new 500 dollar toilet just bolted on new cadet tank and touchfree back in business flushing
