The chair is solid, well built and very pretty. It should hold up for years at the barn where our daughter keeps her horse and rides. The shipment was fast and held up well.

Does not fold at all. Not portable. It is comfortable, but I needed portability.

for my father, who recently had knee surgery. As his flexibility is not great enough yet to use our patio, furniture, I purchased this chair for him to use. The height makes it easy for him to sit in it comfortably, without putting undue stress on his knees when he stands. The reason for the 4 out of 5 rating has to do with the relative "give" in the footrest, and the tendancy of the chair to slightly flex back and forth. Other than that, I am quite pleased with this chair.
