I got this thing for photographing birds. Easy to setup but I haven't decided if the designer is a genius, devil or both. Putting it back in the bag is like doing a Rubik's cube! I watched the video 8 times to figure it out, and each time I do it it brings a feeling of pride and accomplishment. The fabric has a bunch of pinholes, mostly near seams so I doubt the blind is very waterproof (not actually tested it in rain though). Also I don't know yet how it will hold up. But it's good for my purposes and not pricey.

These doghouse blinds are as good as it gets for portable blinds. They're fairly inexpensive, cavernous for one person and acceptable for two. The entry door is nice and large with a large bottom. This is different from the large square blinds typically selling for twice the price, which have triangular doors that make ingress difficult. The blind withstands any weather except for heavy snow, which will generally collapse the fiberglass rods in the top. If you use several of these blinds, save the good parts when the blind wears out - you can get more life out of your blind by cannibalizing.I typically get about three years of use out of one of these blinds. In that time, either a bear or moose destroys the blind, or they weather to the point that the fabric tears under its own tension. When the fabric tears, your blind is essentially done. All that's required for assembly is a hammer, and even this usually isn't necessary as the rods can often be pushed into the ground by hand.

There are more holes in the product than there are in a screen tent. You get what you pay for and I am happy enough for the product considering the low price. I’ve used it a couple times and I can tell you That sitting in here now in the pouring rain I could almost be sitting underneath a leafless tree.....I’m hoping to get a couple years out of this. Do not expect this product to be water resistant. It’s a camouflage blind it is better than burlap and also better then a rain suit which I would get all over heated in.. I am happy with it and at the same time wish it was water resistant

Perfect hunting blind if you use it for the intended purpose. Our children use it as a "nerf base" and they couldn't be happier. Item is lightweight but durable, and takes about a minute to assemble. Material is breathable but still provides protection from most of the elements. You can pop the item out for easy and portable use, or add the poles and attach to the ground for stationary use. Our children love it!

I have not owned a pop-up blind before. I always built tree stands or brush blinds. Couldn't see the value. Boy was I wrong. This blind is a treat. It goes up quick (a little harder to take down, but watch the video and you'll figure it out). The windows are excellent and work great. They are a small center square with shoot-through camo mesh (which you can fold down to use a rifle), and a large crescent fold down, usable from inside also. After hunting with crossbow and rifle in close quarters from the tree house I built, where you cannot move, make the slightest noise, or smell in any way (scent block, laundry and bath soap required), this blind was a total surprise. I have had the deer file right past me without batting an eye. I can't figure out how they don't detect the smell (despite scent blocking), but it worked more than once. The views from inside are great. A short unzip allows you to view three directions with ease. I built a sawhorse shooting stand and sit in a plastic lawn chair. It's great. Plus I can move it up the mountain or deeper into the woods as needed. Very, very pleased with this product.

The most important things that I liked about this product was the was how easy it was to set up, how light it was, great camo, and such an cheap price. Before I purchase, I always want to see what the one, two, and three stars are saying as it lets me know what to expect. Yes, I can see light as other people did looking up into the sun from the inside - Is it going to be a problem? -No. It may or may not leak but if it does, there are so many inexpensive solutions including a little D tape. The stakes are no good but again there are so many cheap options and if the wind is not blowing and this is for a quick set up for a short period of time, I would not even bother. I am a nature photographer and no sooner than I sat it up and settled in, there were birds trying to land on the roof and one even landed on a window that was partially open. This may work for two men but for me, I want to have the option to move around with no one else in my way. For the money and how easy and light it is to set up is a 5*, I like this product and if it only lasts a couple of years, it was so cheap to purchase that it would have paid for itself several times over. Second report after some time that has passed. I sealed any visible light from inside with black silicone rubber - no leaks, however the very small holes that existed most probably would not have leaked anyway. Holding up great in the heavy rain that we had. The height of the windows are perfect for photography for which it was purchased. The size is great and I have saw the Carolina Wrens try to land on the roof to check it out while I was inside.

Set this up in my basement before bringing it out into the woods to see how easy it was and immediately felt silly. Pops right open. Folding it back up took a min but once I figured it out it was a breeze. Went to a hardware store and bought some heavier duty stakes for peace of mind , cost a buck a piece and seemed much more reliable than the stakes it came with. Zippers aren’t too loud to open and close but the Velcro makes me nervous. I’ll probably end up just unzipping to take a shot. All in all, it’s a great blind for a great value. Buying another.

I have not used it in the field yet, but set it up in my basement. Will be using it next year in hunting season. Definitely will take a little practice in taking it down. Very good price(under $100). Looks sturdy enough. I will use plastic tent pegs and not the metal ones that were included. Roomy enough for one person. Does not look big enough for two people, though. Only minor disappointment was it took almost three weeks to get it(via Canada Post). Update: Used this past season and it works great. Stood up well in the windy and snowy weather. Used with small propane heater on the inside. Very comfortable. Looking forward to using it next hunting season.
