when building my pool this was important to set before concrete decking, the only one that fit for the Safron stair help out of a pool, came with great direction on how to level and wools great.

Perfect for what I needed it for to add a new anchor for my pool stair handlebar. I wanted it to be closer to the pool. You basically drill a larger hole, insert this, fill around it with hydraulic cement, and you’re done.

There are several defects in design for these.1) There is no way to anchor these to any kind of plate to secure these in place prior to pouring concrete like the brass ones.2) The bonding screws attach to a flat piece of copper sheet metal inside. The first time you start to tighten them on a #8 copper wire, they start bending in rather than tightening. This causes the two ears inside to spring out, making it impossible to install a pool rail.3) If the purpose for these is to cause major issues, then they are designed prefectly...my opinion is stay far away from these and get the brass ones.

If you are putting in Saftron pool rails they are designed to be installed in the ground to keep your rails sturdy and safely implanted. Well made product

Fast shipping.Did the trick. Hard to find saftron products in Canada but very nice.Our pool in the house we bought was just stuck in holes with no anchors. I had to rent a core drill and diamond bit. Used some quick set cement and done. No grounding required.The anchors were way bigger than I suspected, but makes sense.

They fit the matching handrail well. I cemented them into the ground to keep them sturdy. Looks like they'll do the job. Might be nice for the manufacturer to think about including a plug to keep the free of debris in the off season.

Good for the intended use. I like that the ladder does not have to be grounded - would have meant tearing up some of the deck.

I needed a new one to replace one that had broke. I actually just need to interior pieces to rebuild the one that was installed with the pool. This was exactly what I needed to fix my old one.

The old anchors were corroded and my handrail was very loose and unsafe. Used a Rotary hammer to remove the old ones and make room for these. Set in with some Hydraulic Cement.

Saftron is made here in Bradenton, love the railing we bought, and these anchors provide peace of mind that the pool railing will support everyone who is getting out of pool. I like the railing with the plastic protective covering in beige, instead of aluminum which gets hot. Nice appearance!

I have to admit I was leery about purchasing a plastic anchors for my pool ladder, but was relieved when I received them yesterday. They are heavy duty, and much sturdier than they seemed when I viewed them on Amazon. I will be installing them in my new concrete deck in a few weeks. I'm happy with my purchase!
