Ok, I bought a tripod and my dad has 3 even fancier heavy duty ones, and the part of this gimbal that is supposed to attach to the tripod doesn't fit on any one of them. It has a much larger screw fitting.I read that it has interchangeable screws to fit your camera included. While I can see the slots for these on the removeable quick-release plate, there are no screws included inside the box.I really loved the price of this item, and the good reviews, however it is not user-friendly out of the box. And any common and usual tripod you might buy, wow, no way to attach it. I might have to return it. I am putting up this review hoping for some suggestions. I will try a trip to the fqncy camera store to see if they have conversion screws....(with a smaller 2nd piece on the end), if those even exist anywhere outside of my creative imagination.

Amazing value for money. It's surprisingly smooth. It's not the lightest. But it's rigid enough for heavy lenses. Functional. Sure you can pay 10x the cost for a better one, but why? - unless you need one for lightweight travel.

The rear part of the piece that holds the camera against the scale will not attach. One side does go into the groove as it should but no matter what I tried, it wasn’t going to go. It wasn’t wide enough. This is my first time using a gimbal and this particular model is also quite heavy. Very disappointed.
