  • Annie Sloan Satin Paint in Athenian Black is a perfect, glossy, pitch-black. Ideal for adding drama, making a monochromatic statement on kitchen cabinets, or contrasting with other colors, this shade was inspired by the shadow figures painted on Ancient Greek pottery.
  • Paint Type and Size: This water based high performance Annie Sloan Satin Paint has a built in layer of protection. No sealant (wax or lacquer, for example) is required. The size is 25 Fl Oz (750 mL).
  • Coverage: Approximately 118 square feet per 25 Fl Oz.
  • How to Use: Make sure the surface is clean and dry. Remove loose coats of old paint or lacquer first. Before opening the can give it a good shake. Then open and stir well. Paint one or two coats. Drying time is approx. 1- 2 hours, depending on conditions
  • Eco Friendly Formula: Annie Sloan Satin Paint is child friendly, has low VOC's (<5g/L) and easy to clean
  • Multiple Surfaces: Can be used on nearly all materials such as wood, glass, metal, plastic and old painted surfaces etc. Thoroughly clean and degrease any previously painted or treated surfaces
  • Aftercare: Wash brushes in hot soapy water immediately after use. To maintain your finish, clean with a soft damp cloth and avoid harsh chemicals or alcohol.

Love the Annie Sloan paint colour of Cotswold Green which will soon be replacing another Annie Sloan colour on my kitchen dresser. Has to be one of the best paints I have used - straight on bare wood, very very light sand then second coat was a dream! Smooth finish - so impressed. I know they never look like the picture but the colour wasnt quite true but Im happier with the result so a win! The seller is lovely - little hand written messages of thanks and a little surprise too! I would definitely use the seller again - and luckily for me they are situated nearby so I can go to their shop! All in all a great purchase

This had to be the worst Annie Sloan paint ever !!! Rubbish coverage even after stirring to the point of tennis elbow … avoid

Unfortunately was only able to open today so can’t return but this Athenian Black color which on the site looks black it is definitely heavy on the purple. Should be called Indigo.at the very least. Am now stuck with 2cans since I missed return date of 10/13
