The hex key that comes with this is suitable for throwing in the scrap bin.The long side fit into the set screws, the short side of the hex key did not. There were burrs on 3 sides of the short side of the hex key. Instead of grinding these burrs, I tried a file, to my surprise the hex key was soft, and it filed well. It should be hard enough that a file will skate over it, and it would be nice if it was longer too.It's not a huge deal, most people that buy one of these will have a proper 5mm hex key somewhere in their tool kit.There was a small amount of run-out on the outside of the weldon end, for me it wasn't the end of the world. The taper fit well.

OMG annular cutters are the best!! I do production metal work and I replaced the chuck in my 20" drill press with this arbor and it's great! I can't see any runout but I didn't measure. Holes get drilled clean and fast now with no stopping to sharpen a drill.
