We have only put one on a trashcan to foil the raccoons and it seems to be working. No more trash all over the yard!Edit: The nuts came off when we emptied the trash at the dump. We're going to have to replace them with locknuts.

If you live a little further away from the city these locks make a GREAT way to keep critters from pulling through your garbage and making a big mess around the yard.

I’ve used other products before, but those tricky raccoons always managed to get through. This one’s way stronger—the strap locks down tight and the buckle feels way more solid. So far, it’s holding up great, and I’m finally not losing the battle with raccoons!
