Easy to install. Narrow overlap of the license plate edges doesn't hide any important information on the plate (e.g. Month & Year expiration date tags). Pliable but strong silicone rubber material. Drain holes along the bottom edge. Stainless steel Anti-theft screws and installation tools included!

This item does nothing it claims to do. The screws do not fit a standard plate mounting, they jam and have to be removed with such force using a vice grip, that you will damage your car. There are cap covers that do not fit the screws, the inserts don’t fit over the screw heads either.There is no frame, it is only a rubber mat.

I had the misfortune of coming out to load my vehicle while shopping and find that my rear license plate was missing. It had been firmly attached and I feel certain that it was stolen and not a case of simply falling off. This resulted in spending lots of time an inconvenience to get new plates; filing a police report and the unavoidable lines at DMV. I was determined to at least make it more difficult for the next thief to get my new plates.This frame and tamper-proof hardware looks like it will at least make someone think twice before stealing my license plate. The tamper-proof security bolts should require a special driver that hopefully is not part of the would-be thief’s inventory. The bolts are also hidden behind caps that adds at least one more step to an attempt to steal the plate. The silicone holder wraps around the plate slightly and makes a nice frame. The only addition that I am thinking of making is a clear plastic cover. DMV told me that it is likely the theft was focused on the date stickers (newly affixed). A cover would hopefully make one more deterrent for the thief to look elsewhere.This frame and hardware is a good value for the money.

I will start by saying I am not a car person AT ALL. I've attached regular license plates before but no frame or anything, literally just the plate. So my experience with this sort of thing is literally zero.With that being said, there were not instructions so I was left trying to figure this out on my own. I, of course, did it wrong so the actual security feature isn't being used. I'm just too lazy to go back and undo everything to install it properly. If there had been clear instructions, I would've given 5 stars.
