These do not ratchet! I was so happy to find these then got laughed at by my friend. Theyre regular trimmers and do not ratchet???

I ordered this pruning tool for some trees on my property. The large blade is super sharp and the leverage easily cuts through all the citrus, mesquite branches and palm fronds that I've used it on. I even tried it on some dried dead hardwood branches and it cut through that too, so I was pretty impressed. The handles are comfortable to hold and the length is great for reaching up to get distant branches. Overall, I'm glad I went with these pruners as they make quick work of the branches I need to trim.

With the sharp blade, this makes it easy to chop 2" branches and with its length you can reach any branch. I really like how the handles have a comfortable grip. The cutter is lightweight which makes it easier to hold and cut.

I usually use bypass pruners but decided to give this one a try for heftier branches. Works wonderfully! The anvil function means a nice clean cut regardless of the direction you hold the branch. Nice long handles give you good leverage. Sharp! Feels very sturdy and high quality. I am rather rough on my gardening tools so we'll see how well it holds up to abuse over time, but so far it has been a great addition to my gardening tool belt. Recommend!

The shipping box was fine, but the lopper handle was bent. It was probably shipped with the defect. This reflects poor quality control on filling orders.
