Doesn't mount solidly where the arm meets the base that is bolted to the hood. Moves too easily because the spring on the inside doesn't hold it snug. Has a low volume rattling sound from inside the mirror when idling.

Product comes with no installation instructions although it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to install this, but you have decisions to make like should the plate on the bottom be in the inside of the hood or the outside of the hood. After installing the mirror it was loose had to figure out how to tighten the mirror up from the inside, so you have to take the mirror back off and tighten the screw inside like I said instructions would have helped. And when tightening the inside screw if you over tighten the middle of the mirror starts to buckle out.

The hood mirrors are of good quality, but one was broken. I told the seller and he promptly sent me a new set. I'm delighted with the product and, above all, with the seller's service.

Is installation was a bit of a hassle. The original bolts did not match with the screws that came with this product. And the screws did not come with bolts. It is installed and seems a bit flimsy. Let's see how long they will last.

I painted them purple to match my truck. Great quality mirrors, they have a very strong 💪 springs that holds them tightI only have one ☝️ issueI don’t believe the job can be done with the hardware supplied. I went to Home Depot and purchased 2/16 thick sheet metal steel, some stainless steel flat washers and lock washers Traced the gasket supplied to measure the face of the size piece I wanted located the new face plate on the inside of the hoodHope this helps
