Got this for my 1997 Ford Ranger 2.3l pickup. It was a very easy install, took less than an hour including cutting to old one off and getting my tools out. It is quieter than my old one, but it is not as quiet as a stock muffler. Works just fine for me. Couldn't give it 5 stars because I don't know how long it will last.

Inlet port was damaged upon receipt, while packaging did not appear damaged. Item had been dropped, or otherwise damaged prior to shipping.

This muffler despite being listed as compatible to my van is a slightly larger than a universal muffler.It is shorter than the OEM muffler and does not have the little metal hook that is used to hang it.That being said, it is well built and with a little welding I will have a complete exhaust system again.Amazing how the difference between a 50 dollar muffler and a 175 dollar muffler is about 6 inches and a little metal hook.
