The Xscorpion AP4.6 AeroPort 4" Molded Sub Box Enclosure (White) has a molded enclosure port that's suitable for 12-18" subwoofers. Designed to improve the performance of subwoofers by increasing the amount of air displacement. Subwoofers work by compressing air and creating sound waves. An aero port is a type of bass port that increases the amount of air displacement. As a result, it increases the frequency at which a subwoof can produce frequencies. Aero ports are said to provide better bass response and more accurate sound reproduction.
