Had no idea this cable might break one day. This was a quality fit for the value. You will need a Torx T-50 bit to install.

The cable works fine but the plastic washers do not fit properly in the retention groove of the the bolts so you may have to use the original ones.

Priced this item at my Honda dealer for $70 on Amazon It doesn’t say it fits newer 2017 ( mine ) dual action tail gate but it does! Perfect fit! So happy!! Easy install comes with bolts washers etc!!
