We ordered 2 of these, one was fine the other one stripped out when trying to set the jam nut. The threads were to small in diameter when they were cut . Ended up going to a hydraulic store and purchased another one so we could finish the job.

The female end would not thread on to the 1/2 male conector. I took the conector off the elbow and put it directly to the hose, so the hose is definitely 1/2.

This fitting is as described. I purchased this product based on the description, it fits perfectly. Great price for the quality. Less expensive than TSC or the hydraulic specialty stores. Consult the charts, fittings can be complicated. 1/2 BOSS is not the same as 1/2 jic or 1/2 npt.
