Not the biggest fan of the pluck foam these cases come with (I’m always tinkering with my setup). Harbor freight wanted at least twice the price of these when I chatted with customer service. Placed an order for this item and they fit perfectly. No cutting needed. I can put whatever setup I want in the case and I’m so much happier. Even sent the suppliers a question with an almost immediate response. Great product great company great price!

Great fit, sturdy foam. Personally I wish it was black vs the darkish grey, but that doesn’t affect performance.Note: I have a flashlight mounted on my handguard that sticks out to the right side. You will have to cut the base-layer factory foam in half for it to fit properly… or just smush & pack it like a carry-on bag that’s on the brink of exploding😂

This is a major upgrade for the 9800. The pull and pluck foam that HF provides sucks. It limits you to two specific guns and is not easy to work with. This foam allows you to use the case with any two rifles you want and you don’t have to waste time going through the pull and pluck process.I would recommend this foam to anyone who doesn’t want to be limited to two specific firearms in their 9800 or any of the equivalent cases from other brands.If HF and other sellers were smart they would dump the pull and pluck and offer this foam instead.
