I was a bit skeptical due to the reasonable price point. I was pleasantly surprised, good packaging, and great welds. Great bearing and came with all hardware. Install took about 30 minutes and tightened up the ambiguity in my steering. No modifications were needed. Very pleased.

Fits in the sway bar mount holes fine but the bearing on the steering shaft doesn’t line up with bracket holes. Requires a little bending and hole drilling. Other than that it tightened up steering on my 04 Cummins with a 6” lift and 37” tires

Solid all around, only reason it’s not getting five is my box didn’t actually come with instructions. I figured it out but it took a extra bit of time which was a little annoying. Helped tighten everything up on my 2008 3500 ram and it’s been doing really well. I also appreciate the greaseable bearing as Canadian winters come with lots of salt on the road. Recommend for anyone looking for a little more outta their dodge when it comes to steering.

The bearing holder part didn’t line up at all was complete waste of time I cut it apart and moved it if you know what your doing it’s fine but if you want drop on kit don’t bother it was put on 2006 ram 3500

I took a chance purchasing this unit as I saw some negative reviews about fit. Box arrived just fine and all parts were included. I checked everything over and its built very well and the bearing is very heavy duty. That being said I am lucky enough to have access to a full repair garage. Put the tuck on the lift and followed the directions. You might want to ignore them to the point of get everything lined up first (This is a 2 man job if installing at home and no access to lift) before tightening anything down. Once you do that it assembles just fine and fixed the last of my steering issues I had with my 2003 Dodge Ram 2500. Great product for a fraction of the name brand items selling here.

Does not fit with the sway bar, holes were 1/2” off which made everything else 1/2” off go with a different brand before purchasing this one!! Unless you feel like an extra 3 hours of fab work to make it work! 1/2 hour install my ass

The bearing holes had to be slotted. I installed everything loosely and there was no way this thing was going to fit. I had to slot the bearing holes about a 1/2 inch toward the front of the vehicle where the plate is the weakest. My installation time went from 30 min to over 3 hours due to grinding and multiple fit ups. Very disappointing.

Everything fit nice. I went off other reviews and assembled it in place instead of before putting it in and it went together very easy. Only problem was the bolts they sent with the kit were the wrong thread so I had to go get different ones. Broke off a stabilizer bar bolt taking it apart so took awhile to deal with that. Now I'm curious to try it on the road.

I am extremely pleased that I went with the APDTY brand steering box stabilizer kit. I installed it on my 2006 Ram 2500 MegaCab (4WD) and it fit perfectly. The construction and quality of the stabilizer bar, bearing and all of the included hardware are top notch. The increased stability and steering wheel response was immediately noticeable after installation. If you are trying to eliminate "Death Wobble" or simply improve the steering and drive quality of your Dodge Ram 4WD truck, this is one of the components I found to be extremely helpful. However, In my opinion, this kit is not the single "silver bullet" to solve all your problems. It should be noted that in addition to this steering box stabilizer kit, I also installed a new MOOG track bar with greasable bushings and a new MOOG steering linkage kit with greasable tie rod ends. Hope this information helps.

I looked at several brands, alot had reviews stating poor fit or the holes not aligning. I suspect, it was more user error after I installed this bracket on my truck. The bracket installs easily if you lay it out and go over how your going to install it. My kit had NO instructions, but it's fairly self explanatory and I watched a youtube video. First, I removed the pitman arm nut and reinstalled the new hardware. Next I removed the 4 bolts, 2 on each side/bottom of the frame. Next I installed the bracket, loosely tightening the 4 bolts. Next I installed the bearing over the new pitman arm nut/shaft. Then I simply tightened everything up in a clockwise fashion. As you tighten the bolts the new piece aligned correctly and tightly. I suspect the trouble others were having is that they installed the bearing and or tightened the bolts first, which want allow the device to align correctly. It took about and hour & half to install. You really need two people to do this job, one to hold the part, the other to fit the hardware and bolts......imo.
