2017 Ram 3500 6.4 dually. This brace works great but did have to modify the mounting holes as someone else posted so the extender would be center. Without doing so the bolts for bearing would not line up.

I bought this because the description stated it would fit my 2015 Ram 3500. Due to tool and weather issues I did not get a chance to attempt installation till today. Finally had all tools required and good weather and the Pitman extension is too small. My window to return was last week, so I am stuck with something I cannot use or return for refund, out that money and will now have to spend even more.

Had to open up the sway bar holes a bit to get the bearing block to line up. Well priced. For the comments of no instructions. It’s straight forward install. Had a BD bar on my last truck. This one seems equally quality. The paint durability will likely be the achilles’ heel to this one.

Installed in 35-40 minutes and was under the impression that maybe this should have been installed on these trucks from the factory. After driving for a hundred or so miles I am convinced. One should definitely get a steering alignment directly after installment. This brand has equal quality as other more expensive brands. I made a good choice for once.

Bought for 2011 Ram 2500. There were no instructions with the item, but install is pretty straight forward. Took about 45 minutes to install with no problems. Only gave 4 stars due to no instructions.

I only gave this 2 stars because construction was good, but the angle was a little off on my 2017 ram 2500. I had to shim the pillow block and bearing about .030 to keep the bearing from binding when it was fully torqued down. Also it came with no instructions. I feel like without shimming it it would have caused excessive wear to my gearbox, but i installed as preventive maintenance so maybe if u had a lot of slop in the gearbox this may not be an issue

I purchased APDTY 133966 Heavy Duty Steering Box Death Wobble Stabilizer Bracket for my 2016 Ram 2500 4x4, when it arrived the box didn’t have installation instructions. I have tried to get in contact with you through Amazon without any success! I feel getting a product as complex as this one and deals with the steering that comes without installation instructions and contents list is just wrong! I will be returning the product to Amazon

Didn’t see a reason to buy the expensive name brand brace. This works great and money saved. No instructions in the box but instal is sell explanatory.

Vehicle: 2013 Ram 2500 4x4 6.7LInstall time: 30 minutes with enough toolsOverall, this thing is great. No more feeling like I lost steering while cornering and the steering wheel vibration is almost nonexistent. I highly recommend installing a steering brace if you’re experiencing any of the things I have. Installation was pretty self explanatory, but instructions never hurt. Replacement bearings are pretty cheap too, so it’s nothing major to maintain if it goes out.Since instructions aren’t included:First, I removed the sway bar from the frame. Tip: use a jack stand under the sway bar to make it a little easier.Second, removed the factory nut from the pitman arm. Retain factory washer.Third, installed the extension.Tip: you’ll need an extra deep socket if you’re using a ratchet. A 15” adjustable ratchet from Harbor Freight worked for me.Fourth, loosely installed the steering brace. Use four longer bolts included. The brace mounts slide between the sway bar and frame.Don’t tighten the four sway bar bolts yet! You’ll want to tighten the bearing first to line it up with the shaft extension. Otherwise it will bind when you tighten the sway bar to the frame.Last, installed the bearing.I used anti-seize on the shaft, just in case...and greased the bearing before installation.Hopefully this review helped you out! There’s also plenty of videos on YouTube if you have any trouble.
