This 12 x 1.0 mm tap was exactly what I needed. There was one fitting hole where the threads were not quite right. I could not get a fitting to screw in straight. This tap cleaned up that mess and the fitting went in nice and tight. This tap is high speed steel and the threads look cleanly cut. Not sure how it would cut on harder steel but it worked for me. It allowed me to use the OEM part in the brake system in a 2000 Voyager. I would have been searching junk yards for this part. I'd buy this again if I needed one. I have no connection with company or product.
