So, I have a 2010 explorer 4.0 that I had to repair some wiring on, to do so I had to remove the intake manifold and in the process I found a cracked vacuum port so I purchased the manifold above. Now I'm in the process of installing the new manifold after repairing the wiring (of course) and I had trouble getting the manifold to drop into place but once I got it there I started the closest bolts to the front of the motor (not tightening) and worked my way back. As I did so I find that the bolt holes are not lining up properly, and that this new manifold has extra material on it that interferes with the installation of the bolts and the use of a wrench. So today I'm going to remove any bolts that were easily started and try to get the bolts in the back started first. Other than that I don't know what else to do other than modifying the manifold by removing some of the (extra) material in the area of the mounting bolts, that or just return the manifold because of a fitting issue... it seems as if the 3D printing of the part is wrong or the manufacturer didn't remove material after making the part...Seems to be durable enough and the cost was good but the fitting of the manifold is the issue...Update;Had to remove the manifold, wouldn't fit not matter what I did. Has all this extra material on it the original didn't have. Had to get a used one from the junk yard, dropped right in and now I'm back to driving...Returning manifold...

I bought this to replace my existing intake on my new REMAN engine that was on backorder for two years. The engine failed at 243,000 miles. These intakes have a habit of warping once they are removed because of being plastic, and the heat produced by the engine. The warpage is very slight, but there. These anywhere else are expensive, and there a a lot of used ones out there. Stay away from those, you will not be happy after it is installed and starts sucking in air from everywhere. It arrived in a fair amount of time. Their shipping company they use is really bad and needs to be UPS or FEDEX. Other than that, I enjoyed doing business with this company. High quality, low price. It's hard to find that anywhere in this country anymore.

This part felt very high quality and sturdy but unfortunately it didn’t function well with my 2010 Explorer. It is redesigned so it looked bigger than the original. It added a mean look to my engine.

This thing didn't last any time at all. There is something loose on the inside of it. Thought it was my my timing chain making a racket. My return window has closed, so I'm out $158 and 4 hours of my time installing and removing this piece of junk. I cheaped out and lost.

Great that adapter was installed already on on pcv valve connection. Awesome gaskets were pre-installed. Little oil and it was ready. Went in smoothly.
