Purchased three years ago to the month, finally quit on me. Up until now worked great even in -40 temps. Great value for the money considering what OEM costs, will be purchasing again.

This product is clearly based on Toyota tooling. However, the production quality of the latch is very poor. One of the control rods wasn't bent to the correct angle - requiring careful re manipulation. I ultimately managed to make it fit but the operation was coarse and very high friction. All four actuators: key, internal handle, external handle, and knob were very hard to manipulate and it didn't always lock. After trying to adjust it for an hour or so I had to remove it and re-install the original latch. Too bad this didn't work, while it looks the same, it is far from an OEM or near OEM quality.

Replaced the power locks in a 2003 Tacoma Prerunner. Fit perfectly. Youtube had all the how to's. Saved substantial $$ as a DIY install. You can do it, too!

Save yourself some money. This one works. has all the fresh plastic rod clips you need. Doesn't sound or feel any different than OEM.
