It was a great product! Easy to put in, took my husband and I about an hour start to finish (mainly because we were learning as we went and the angles under the car are interesting). Definitely would recommend!

A good oil pan replacement for my 2008 Toyota RAV4 BASE Model. My mechanic said it’s a good replacement. Installed it about a month ago. No problem so far.1-9-24 : The oil pan was still ok.

I ordered the part on Monday and had it on Thursday. The Oil pan was for a Scion Xb and I was suspicious of both quality of part and fitment with such a low price.in the past, I had paid $100 or better for a replacement oil pan.The part arrived quicker than I expected AND I had ordered a gasket, as the pan doesn't contain one.(note: you don't need the gasket for a Xb, don't waste your time and money)When i opened the box, there were three small tubes of RTV Silicone in with the oil pan.The replacement oil pan is heavy - thick metal, not one of those aluminum can - thin ones that I had seen others receive when ordering low cost parts. I was very impressed. The Scion's oil pan was easy to access and took a bit to get off the car and when I compared the original with the one I ordered; they were identical. The replacement one dry fitted perfectly. After cleaning the mating edge of the car's engine and doing a quick wash of the replacement oil pan, I put a thin layer of the provided high-temp silicone on the oil pan and mated it up to the car.===I didn't use the gasket I also ordered as the original pan didn't have one. The factory just glued the oil pan to the engine (which took some beating with rubber mallet to get off) so I replaced it the same way.===The only complaint I have of this oil pan is that the bolt-oil plug- is TIGHTLY secured to the pan with a crappy metal washer. This was great for the first fill of oil, but after removing it to drain oil and then securing it to specified torque - it has a slow leak. I would get a 2 inch spot of oil in 24 hours. I had to get and use either cork or rubber gasket between the pan and drain bolt to stop that. I wont rate the pan lower just because of that. - personally in reflection, I think they painted the pan after they put the bolt in place and when re-seating it, the metal washer was on the lip of some thick paint and didn't seat properly. knowing this, if I was unlucky enough to have to do it again, I would take the drain bolt out and sand the paint ridges where they were covering the original bolt/washer - smooth and flat and then re-seat the bolt before installing the pan.

This is a really good quality oil pan and replaced the OEM pan perfectly on my 2009 Camry. At this price not worth even cleaning and reusing the old one.
