The control is poorly manufactured.There is an obvious seam where the 2 halves of the stick come together, it will require some work to smooth out. This is primarily a cosmetic issue.There is an additional issue where the auto shut off only works about 20% of the time. When you activate the turn signal, everything functions as it should except that when completing the turn, the signal remains on most of the time. The fact that it's intermittent is pretty frustrating. I will be removing this and reinstalling the factory original which I replaced because the wiper fluid spray switch didn't function. Well, it also doesn't function in this new switch either, so I'll be returning to the factory version.

This MFS (multi-function switch) was less than 1/4 the price the GMC dealer wanted for an OEM switch. It works flawlessly now and time will tell if the quality is ok.Update May/2024: Well it appears I was hasty on my review of this MFS. After only 6 months, it now is sticky when moving the lever to the right and left signal light position and it won't cancel when straightening the steering wheel. I will have to replace soon. I guess the old adage holds true "you get what you pay for".
