Didn’t last very long. Had it in the weekend car for about 1,500 miles worth of driving before one of the retaining clips snapped and allowed the cable to come off of the rollers.Your options aren’t great, unfortunately. It’s $400+ for OEM or $30/$40/$50 for the rest, with little difference in quality.

I found the easiest way to install it was to remove the glass. As others mentioned some of the mounting studs are longer than the oem regulator so you won't be able to get it mounted with the glass in the door.Swapped over the motor took about 45 mins to re&re but has been working without issue.

You know when you see "made in china", that uneasy feeling that this non-original part just isn't going to fit seems to pass through your whole body in a sort of anxiety wave? Well i gotta say, the part looked perfectly accurate, the part fit perfectly, the motor fit perfectly, the assembly worked perfectly....Now time will tell if the part will last. But let's face it, bmw has some of the worst plastic out there! And the original regulator lasted 25 years.
