These worked perfectly for my 2011 Honda Pilot Touring. It was easy to install and has worked well now about 6 months out. Hardest part was reconnecting a clamp although I did it wrong on one side and disconnected something I shouldn't have. I would advise watching a video before you install this and it will be super easy.

Rear tailgut support strut failed on right side (evidenced by leaked fluid shown in BEFORE photos) and would not hold back tailgate up (would beep multiple times and then force closed).Easy install after watching a youtube video, popped closure ring on lower half with a flat head and removed old, and popped in new and now works.

These struts were a perfect fit and 10 minute or less installation. After two winters of the rear gate falling on our heads this was all I needed! Strong enough to hold the heavy door up in -25, easy installation and removal of the old parts. Does not come with instruction but simple google search and I had the job done. They appeared to be an inch or two longer than the original ones on the gate but that didn’t matter when it came to the installation. They fit perfectly on my 2009 Honda Pilot EX-L.

All good. Nice strong supports, hold up 2010 Pilot rear hatch no problems. Have a helper of a piece of wood to help hold up the hatch. When You remove one of these, hatch will drop. My old ones were rusty and ugly. Weird cause nothing else was rusty !Now, it all looks new again !Easy to install, release spring clips on the end, old one comes right off. Install new one and push spring clips in place. Done.

I figure this is a $200 repair at the dealer. This part fit perfect, and I had it replaced and back in the house watching TV in under 15 minutes.Great Product. Good quality.

Es muy sencillo de remplazar, hace la función del original. Creo que son un poco rígidos al principio, pero no le resta nada a la funcionalidad, con el tiempo creo que sucederá lo mismo que el original. Excelente remplazo.
