This throttle position sensor only lasted 5 months. My 1999 Jeep WJ began surging at highway speed a few weeks back and I was able to isolate the TPS as the culprit. Changed it out with a good quality one and so far no problems.

My 98 jeep grand cherokee is constantly breaking down and its usually these kind of stupid little things that nobody ever thinks of replacing unti its given up the ghost and your on the side of the road or freeway some where, you know what they say, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

Worked fine for about a week then as the temps started to drop in the morning it failed. Threw code P0121 on my 99 Jeep XJ. Buy the Dorman or the Mopar OEM.
