Did the install as instructed. Then flashed it with AlfaOBD.On my 2 trailers, I have the same problems. Braking lights works fine but the flashing lights are buggy.The main issue is that the brake control works fine when lights are shut but when truck lights are switched "on" (either automatically or manually) the information cluster shows the warning "trailer brakes dosconnected" and the controller doesn't control the electric brakes anymore. The problem resolves when lights are shut down, but it makes it impossible to drive with both brakes and lights on, which is "off-course" a complete nonsense!

Super satisfait fonctionne très bien et très facile a installer reste à le faire programmer chez le concessionnaire mais fonctionne pareil poul’instalation il suvie de visé le support pour le module par en avant Au lieu de l’arrière en collant des morceaux de plastique là où entre les metal screw

If you’re looking for a brake controller that’s way below dealer cost this is the way to go. It works perfectly but if you will need to have it programmed either by the dealer or alfaobd.

Vehicle. Dodge ram 2020, classic 1500. Part # 82215040ABNo problem with the instalation, although instructions would have been helpful. This thing worked perfect. Price was fair. Be aware you have to have it programmed to work with your vehicle.

I like that its OEM and that it fits in the open slots on the console. My particular unit did not come with the bolts or threaded tabs, so installing the controller was not fun. Had to compromise drilling holes and using hardware I had laying around. Another thing to keep in mind is that you will need to activate the trailer brake by either the dealer or third party so you will spend alittle extra. I am still waiting on the bypass harness so cant speak to functionallity yet.

Very easy to install but, impossible to get all 3 screw in. The wiring harness can not be moved. Good news is that 2 screws is enough. It must be flashed by the dealer to show up in the dash menu. Haven't tried it yet but, gain seems to work.

Installed in my 2020 RAM Classic. Watch some videos first, but this item installs just like the OEM, much-more-expensive model. Works great. For my year model I had to get a security bypass along with an odb connector and software to enable and program it. You could also go to a dealer, but where’s the fun in that?
