Not as it claims. When i cleaned the filter, i found small people traped inside the filter. The idea is good and also comes with 2 extra sponges. But i can't use it in the tank to house fry.

Not really much of a filter pretty cool concept but seems ypu would have to clean this everyday with the amount it holds

This makes the perfect amount of bubbles to move the water around it stays down and doesn't float up I've tried seven different brands of sponge carbon filters this one's pretty decent

Seems to work well in my 2.5 gallon tank. Doesn't disturb my betta like my last filter that produced large bubbles.

This product came packaged good and protected . I have only one problem with this item the top and bottom of filter to clean or even replace sponges in filter can't open at all there is no way to clean this product. Checked for any twist top or anyway to open. Was to be used for seahorse aquarium no way to change sponge that came with item. I always test and check items before use. I have only one problem that is why I gave four star to rate product this is the only problem I have. Need to fix this problem with product only it will sell good if you do fix it. Thank you.

So far, Its appearing to be an interesting alternative to a regular sponge filter. It has media inside while sort of acting like a sponge and remains cleaner on its outside case. It moves bubbles/air very well and comes with extra sponge replacement for future maintainence.
