Overall quality, materials of construction, workmanship appears to be excellent. Been in service as a sump pump for approximately two months with no issues.

the base is plastic along with the top. the pump housing and impeller inlet is metal. the housing stainless and the impellar cast iron. nice long cords. does not come with any fittings for connecting. you will need to connect this to 1-1/2" threaded pipe or adapter. typically you add a backflow valve and pipe to your sump outlet. nice strong pump. mine usually last me 5 years before they corrode to nothing, stainless or not. we shall see.

Received a damaged base to the pump small crack and piece of the base missing. After inspection this would not interfere with the operation of pump. I installed the pump works fine. Heavy pump could have been caused by shipping?

Purchased to lower my flooded pond. Upgraded from a 1/3 hp to this 1/2hp and boy did it make a difference. Great buy also

I finally got it insalled!!It's a really nice quiet pump.I am very happy with it.And has lot of open spots at the bottom to keep it from getting plugged up.
