Installation steps - (Wear gloves to keep bulb hygienic). If the installation is abnormal, Araca will provide you with installation guidance.
How to extend the life of the projector bulb
1. After the shutdown, only wait for the fan to stop before disconnecting the power.
2. After turning off the projector, wait at least 60 minutes to reboot.
3. Do not disconnect the power directly during use.
4. No more than 4 hours each use time.
5. Make sure there are no obstacles around the projector to allow the projector to dissipating heat normally.
6. Regularly clean the dust inside the projector and the bulb, otherwise the elevated temperature will cause the projector shut down automatically to protect it.

Used this new bulb to replace one for an old Sony KDS 60A2000 projection TV. It was very easy to swap out with the old bulb (no tools needed), and so far (one month of use) it works great. It warms up slightly slower than the previous bulb (a few extra seconds), but the intensity is good once it gets there.

Used it to replace OEM bulb for ViewSonic PJD7820HD projector. Easy installation. Manufacturer evenprovided a glove to protect the bulb from hand oils during install. Brightness is good. Thank you! Hoping it will last a long time: we got more than 6000 hours from OEM bulb.

I ordered a new bulb after mine finally went out with 5500 hours on it. Amazon lost the bulb. While I was waiting to request a refund Araca messaged me with helpful hints on prolonging bulb life and to ask how it was going with my purchase. When I informed them that I never received it, they apologized profusely and offered to send me a new bulb free of charge since I had already requested the refund. I got the bulb a couple days later right at the exact time they said I would receive it. I put it in and my projector fired up and I was back working. I've never seen such excellent customer service on Amazon. It's a rarity in this day and age for a business to care about their customer's experience. It's usually just a money grab and doesn't matter if you are happy or satisfied. I recommend this seller highly and you can shop them with total confidence. Thank you for turning a bad situation into a good one. I appreciate it.

This bulb is better than OEM. You have to do some light assembly, not very difficult and i do recommend using gloves to keep natural oils off. This picture is brighter than original. For the price, I'm thinking of ordering a spare. Much cheaper than OEM and shipping was timely. Tis is ONLY the BULB, not the housing.

I've had my BENQ MH530FHD 1080P Projector for almost 2 years now, and I use it for movies and Xbox gaming with my wife and kids or when guests come over.When the lamp light recently came on, I was terrified at the idea of taking apart the projector, but I also didn't want to buy a new projector since the MH530FHD rates very highly for gaming.To be honest, I should have researched this more, because I thought that replacing the "Lamp" was as easy as unscrewing a bulb. As a result, I took the projector apart and realized, that I should have bought the Lamp (not a bulb), which would have cost quite a bit more money but would require quite a bit less disassembly.Instead, I bought this bulb that goes INSIDE the lamp... meaning I spent less money, but disassembly requires more effort since I have to disassemble & reassemble the lamp.Long story short, I am very happy that I messed up and purchased this bulb. While there were no videos that I could find for lamp disassembly on my specific model projector, I was still able to figure out for myself how to change the bulb within the lamp.As far as the quality of this bulb, I just watched the 4 hour long Snyder Cut version of Justice League with my wife & kids, and we couldn't tell the difference between this bulb or the original OEM. If this bulb gives me another year or two of the same quality, I would definitely buy it again!

A replacement bulb for my projector, with the housing, costs around 3 times as much as this bulb. It was easier to install then I thought, and took only about 10 minutes. You'll need a set of tiny (microscopic) screw drivers, and a magnifying glass and steady hands, but its well worth it to save like 70 bucks with 10 minutes of work.All in all I am very happy and pleased. The bulb was exactly the one I needed for my projector, and the new bulb is working great. The shipping was also pretty quick so I was back watching movies in no time.
