Installation was easy. Just cut, peel and stick. These are the second set I bought. I measured, cut & hung a pair of them in less than 20 minutes. Easy peasy. They make my home look good Great blackout blinds.

I have the blackout option for my window arch and install wasn't so bad. I wish my arch was perfect, but it wasn't so cutting was a little task. Overall, it definitely blocks out light in my room.

This is functional and great that you can trim it down to size. Beware, it's very hard to cut it with a standard utility knife.

This window shade took less than a half hour to install. All we had to do was measure the width from the center and cut a few inches off the end of the shade (we used a small saw knife but a table saw may give a straighter cleaner cut). From there, the plastic housing sticks to your windowsill with an adhesive strip, then the same type of adhesive strips on both ends of the fully open shade as well. One side has a long magnetic strip so you can easily open it and close it as needed.It really was extremely simple to install. It looks very good and does block the light well. I am hopeful it will help keep the room cooler in the summer months, but it seems to be helping the room temp slightly now in the winter (less so because the two big windows underneath do not have weather-efficient blinds yet).We had been looking fir a long time for a solution to this oddly shaped window and for ours, it worked great. I was concerned it would not work because we don’t have any additional framing between the large windows and the round window, but it was just thin enough to fit on the window’s own frame.
