Definitely worth the price. If you charge by the breach, it makes its money back on the first hole. It's a very aggressive cutter and wants to jump when you start. Start your boring drill at full speed and do your best to have drill on a platform with a guide or stopper on the right side. (This is if you're not using a mount) Once it gets started, it shreds through cinder and cement block with ease and no blow out on the outside of the breach. It goes through solid concrete far better than our wet bit . Naturally, you will have quite a bit of dust during dry coring. A shop vac held close cures that headache. We've probably got about a dozen and a half breaches completed in solid concrete, 16" granite and cinderblock. If it burns up anytime soon, it has definitely made it money back twenty fold between billing and labor saving.

Didn't fit a conventional fitting in order to be used. there was no converter so I had to return it. Would haave been a good value if it fit

I used a smaller 2 1/2” bit that was able to cut 17 inches and it did well, but this one didn’t do as well. Not sure why, I used water with both bits.

The Diamond Turbo Core Drill Bit works great on my concrete floor. It cuts through the ground concrete and produced a perfect round on my concrete floor. I was fixing my toilet ground floor hole, and I got the job done with the diamond turbo core drill bit. A great tool to have!

This core drill bit worked great for my application, installation of a mini split AC system. I had to drill through several walls, which all consisting of concrete and stucco over adobe walls. I also had to drill through sandstone and it worked great there as well. It makes a clean entrance and exit despite the hard yet brittle materials. The only note that I have, when renting the drill from a local rental store, Home Depot in my case, I needed an adapter. Since Home Depot didn’t provide this, I had to purchase that separately. Also realize that if you are renting a drill, you will want to know the insertion end. BI to BS in my case, using a Hilti DD-150-U. My expense came out to be half the price when compared to purchasing a drill that was a direct connection to the drill.
