Card stock is acid- and lignin-free. Folders are bottom-scored to easily fold to desired capacity up to ¾''. Folders will hold up to 50 documents, depending on material and condition. Folders are offered in pre-packs of 50. Take a look at commercial grade and general purpose file folders and see what kind of board stock they are made of. In truth, you usually can't tell. Some are made from recycled material. Great as public policy but a big question mark for archival storage. If the documents need to be permanently filed and retained they require archival quality file folders
