This was exactly what I was looking for. Something to wrap around My Ruger Redhawk .44 Mag with its7.5" barrel. Both sock and Redhawk are now in a cozy corner of one of my safes. I've used the longversions of these on some old rifles. They work great. That's why I bought one that I needed for arevolver. I may buy more for some of my other revolvers, too. Good stuff.

Love using these sleeves for the guns in the safe. I've used quite a few brands over the years and these are just as good as any and typically a bit cheaper. Great for keeping corrosion at bay but most importantly protection from bumps and nicks that you get when storing.

I bought a pack of 2 gun socks just to see how they were, and they exceeded my expectations. They fit my pistols so perfectly that I bought another pack! I own 3 subcompact pistols, and 1 full size pistol. The socks are thick, and keeps them from rubbing against each other. I will be ordering more in different colors while I, slowly but for surely, continue to increase my collection :)

These handgun socks are made of a very thick material to protect the firearms they are used on. I use them on revolvers with barrel length up to 7-1/2 inches long and on semi-automatic pistols with barrels up to 5 inches long. The socks easily stretch to cover the entire handgun for both revolvers and pistols and the material is thick enough that it still protects the handguns at all the stretch points. They have a tie cord at the open end of the sock but the sock is so long that I do not use the tie cord but just fold over the excess sock material when I place the handguns in the gun safe. The socks are silicone treated to protect the handguns but I still put the firearms in a heavy duty plastic bag before placing them in the gun sock. These socks meet all the requirements that I have for fully protecting handguns stored in a safe or taking them to the range. They also permit me to store more firearms in my gun safes when the socks are used in place of a soft handgun zippered case.

Has barely enough stretch to fit over my disassembled upper and lower 8.5” AR pistol. Upper has a 3-9x40 scope & a 1.5” flash hider on it and it barely squeezed in there. Lower has a SBA3 and I was able to get it in there with some finagling. Definitely not something that you can put on and take off quickly. I wanted something to protect my upper and lower when taken apart and stuffed in a small backpack. I think these will do what I bought them for. I think as tight of a fit that they are - they may not take a lot of wear and tear.
