They didn’t work on my fire stick since USB memory stick was hitting the side so had el use the cable extension type which I had also ordered, these would work for some applications just not adding a memory stick to the side of a Firestick, just to consider

Works well. It's small and compact. Perfect when you have a firestick in the glove compartment. Just like any other other adapter. You will have power problems connecting a hard drive (1T for sure) to it in connection with a firestick when using a USB power cable. You should not have problems when connected inside your home connected to a wall outlet.

I am not sure if Amazon is falsely advertising or if I am just technologically illiterate. Once you buy this, and then once you buy the recommended 128 gb flash drive to optimize your storage, then guess what?? You find out that YOU CANNOT transfer internal files externally to the flashdrive. Hmm, now why would Amazon promote a product that specifically formats a flashdrive...that once formatted cannot EVER be used for anything else...knowing that NONE of the program apps will be allowed to be transferred to an external storage unit?? What the hell? Short of me downloading some wierd jailbreak app that is recommended off a youtube video, then there is no way to move ANY primary apps to the external unit. So good luck, save your money, and spend it on something else.

I plugged it into the amazon fire stick. Connected USB stick. Was able to open photos and movies from the USB stick (after installing ES file manage & MX player). great simple product.

It is simple and easy to connect. I transferred some apps to my 128 GB flash drive. Just a reminder, you're not allowed to move all apps to a flash drive.
