I'm restoring a 1975 Moto Guzzi and the bolts securing the distributer were totally inaccessible.Screwed around trying all types of different wrenches with NO LUCK.Tried different suppliers and was unable to find a 13mm X 3/8" drive Torque Transfer Wrench (SAE wrenches were available but no METRIC and a 1/2" box Torque Transfer Wrench was Close but No Cigar.Found ARES on the internet, ordered the wrench, delivered within two days, reasonable price, it fit perfectly and finally was able to do the job within a few minutes...THANKS GUYS !!! Tried in vain to put the proper torque setting on an idler pulley bolt in my Buick and could not get the torx driver AND the torque wrench into the tight spot without removing a ton of other components. With this extension and the 5/16" torx driver slid into the box end of this adapter, I was able to apply the correct torque to the bolt after I calculated the new setting on the wrench because of the added 2'' center-to-center length.Do I use it every day? No, but I like doing a repair correctly so it was worth it for me to purchase.

This is the best set of torque adapter extensions I've found. I need my adapters to a very small outside diameter on the torqued fastener side, but be strong enough to last. These have the smallest outside diameter I've found - the wrench is only slightly bigger than the nut - and appear to be made to last. The machining and plating are excellent, the sizing is very accurate, and the square drive is a nice snug fit. Some would prefer a blow-molded clamshell case that closes, but i've found the custom cut foam carrier to be faster, easier, and one-hand-able :)These are expensive compared to the cheapies, but I appreciate tools that will keep me from busting knuckles, fit in the tightest places, don't slip or wiggle, and will likely to outlive me.PS - if you happen to be working on Rotax 125's, this works right out of the box, no need to grind them down. Win-win.

Another of those tools where you will rarely use it, but will be glad you have it when the need arises…Comes in handy for torquing bolts that are located in areas where you cannot access them from above the bolt.Good packaging with a foam base that nicely retains each piece.It is possible to purchase these piecemeal from Ares on Amazon, but I found it more economical to purchase the set, knowing that they will be ther me if and when I need them.

Search online to find the formula for recalculating torque when you add an extension like this to a torque wrench, but it saved the day for me when I couldn't fit the head of a rachet or a torque wrench into some tight spots on my truck.
