I'm sure it's better than just sitting there heating itself from the extra surface area, and it comes with a top and bottom thermal pad to ensure it's seated in place and properly contacted. I just got it for looks and looks it sure provides.

I have 10 infinity mirror fans and an infinity mirror pump on my AIO. When I say this, I knew I had to have it for my system. It did not disappoint and blends perfectly with my other components.
