I have a 68 Ford 3000 with an aftermarket instrument cluster. This cable fit the generator end but was to big for the tachometer connection. It was cheap enough so I kept it and made an adapter for it. Gave a 3 out of 5 because Iām not sure it could be the fault of my aftermarket cluster.

Fit my 1978 Ford 3600 tractor perfectly. I added lubrication onto the cable before install as it looked a little dry, very easy to do.-Well after seven months its outer jacket failed, looks very much like shrink wrap over the cable, not good quality rubberized jacket like the original, here is what they had to say when I asked for replacement...This by far should have lasted many years, not seven months... don't buy from them..Very disappointed...Hello,Unfortunately, we cannot make an exchange for this product, as it has been seven months since your order. The deformation in this product has occurred due to use, and the seller is not obliged to change the product for the deformations that occur as a result of use in the seven-month period.RegardsAutoPartKings

It was an exact replacement for the old cable on my Ford 2000 tractor.

The part did not work. Inside cable was to short.

Received the cable on 18 July and installed it worked well. However hadn't used tractor much until the pass weekend 19 Aug. After operated it I notice the RPM gauge was inoperable and had stopped at 1.5 hrs. Upon further checking I found the cable had broken in half. Notified Amazon, vendor said they would send another cable, will update when received and tractor is operated for a period of time.
