I use it onnmy trash cans, on rugs and carpets. Having several animals this has been so great to have this, it is fantastic in obtaining a nice. Soft fresh scent!

This product is a must have! I recently moved to a new house, and the trash can smelled like an animal was dead inside. I had to keep it outside all the time. I even left it open for days, but that did not help. I used one scope (about half of a water cup) of this powder and the smell disappeared completely. I can literally put my head inside the can and not smell a single thing. It has been over a month since I used the powder. I have not added more. I want to see how long it's going to take before the trash can start smelling again.Note: the smell did not disappear immediately. It took couple of days, but after that it was completely gone. I highly recommend this product

I would have given this five stars because of the odor elimination factor, but the product is so messy it’s hard to support it completely. The box is cheap and weak. The top doesn’t close well, but honestly I can’t figure out if I should put it inside the trashbag or in the can.

Arrived to day and yes it had leaked a little but I used that to sprinkle on my trash bins no problem. My thought was this is baking soda with a scent much like the same stuff you sprinkle on carpets or pet odor baking soda so why pay so much for the same thing? However I have only just started using it so will update as it goes.

I ordered this item again when my current box was almost empty. This really works wonders on my kitchen trash can. I normally only use 1 bag a week so the trash can could be smelly at times. Not any more! Note: if you use the trash bags that have a deodorizer in them then this product really won't do you any good. I don't use those type of bags so I do like this product. The bottom of the box isn't very well sealed so I use duct tape on it.

Large garbage barrel stank to High Heaven! Couldn't put my face close to the opening....t'would literally make me gag!! After getting emptied, I sprinkled about 1/3 of the carton of Arm & Hammer around the bottom of the barrel. In less than a week, I dared to do a sniff test---and the overpowering stench was gone! This product really works!Now, every week I plan on sprinkling an ounce or two after garbage pick-up day, just to keep the barrel sweet smelling. Since we throw several bags of cat poop away every week, I might just put an ounce of A&H in each of their litter boxes to help with the odor control---I'm sure it will work wonders.

I have indoor cats and managing the daily poop scooping in the summer creates a terrible smell in my outdoor trashcans. I started using Arm & Hammer trash can and dumpster a few times a week and the odor is not nearly as bad between washings after trash day each week. I have also used it when having to throw food away during warmer months and it has tremendous odor control for spoiled food. Not everything can be flushed or shoved down a garbage disposal - it has to go in the trash can and this product really helps with odor control.
