Didn’t even buy it but Im leaving a 1 star review anyway because the item is listed as stainless but in the description it says carbon steel.

Seems sturdy and high quality. It is for display not use. Don't know what would happen if you tried to chop a bunch of stuff with it

I purchased it for my son as a Christmas gift. We were both happy with it. For the price, it makes an excellent display piece. And the sheer size of it would most likely deter an unarmed intruder.

I don’t know what their definition of battle ready is but this sword is definitely not battle ready. Ok deco piece but that’s about it.

I got the sword badly damaged, bent tip. The pomel has a crack in the chrome and many sratches and dents

Short Review: This is a fairly nice wall or costume piece, if you are looking for something Celtic in design to show off or fit an aesthetic then this should work fine.Long Review: firstly let me mention this for anyone unfamilar with such things, this is NOT a sword, or at least a 'real' sword. You cannot do any actual cutting or sparing with this blade, it would be highly dangerous and unpractical to do so. However-As a 'wall' or 'costume' piece this blade is very nice for the price. It does have several criticisms that, given the price are to be expected but that any buyer should know none the less.1. The blade is dull, extremely dull. Nothing more really to say about that since its what you would want from a deceptive piece (but someone might not like that).2. The blade, crossgaurd and pommel are made of fairly low quality stainless steal (which is to be expected from the price).3. The hilt blade assembly is not the greatest, the blade can move around slightly within the hilt.4. The assembly and alignment of the blade was not very precise, meaning the blade is slightly crooked coming out of the crossgaurd.(actual criticism)4. The decorative pieces extending up beyond the crossgaurd and up the flats of the blade are not attached (welded) so there are noticeable gaps between the flat and decorative pieces.5. The blade came with minor scratching and scuffs across all the metal surfaces. (Nothing major)That about finishes my criticisms of the blade, of course most of this is nit picking and to be expected for the price. The only truly criticising feature would be number 4 (crooked blade), the manufacturer could try better to properly align the blade within the hilt assembly.OK how about the sheath? Overall the sheath is pretty good for its use. Not real leather and it won't stand up to much abuse but overall it gets the job done. Most importantly the blade fits it fine and it sits nicely within it. The sheath keeps the blade held even when upside down as to be expected.Final remarks, my review is fairly critizing but I have done that so any future buyer knows exactly what they are getting. It's important to note again that none of these criticisms are really major as you honestly get what you pay for here. Overall I really like it a a decoration and works well for my costume. Price is fair in my opionon. Lastly it is important to not that milage my vary among these things so it is fairly difficult to know what's going to be the same or what could be a defect.
