The part worked fine, it snapped off first time it got banged on bush. Not good quality. Cheap. It worked for a while and snapped ;the cable is good, it’s the plastic crap handle assembly that’s junk.

Installation was no issue. Bolted onto an older lawn mower to ad throttle control to a new engine. Original engine was a two speed on engine control. This throttle should allow for variable speed control of my new engine. It just does not feel all that rugged. The cable was fine but the throttle control on the bar feels flimsy. I give it a short life span and therefore not impressed. It is ok for now.What, may I ask, is sheerness?? Gave that item a 5 because. after all, what else could it be?

Cheap plastic junk. Didn’t come with mounting hardware either. Part was easy to install, minus the fact I had to find a bolt to mount it with(my mower never had a throttle control). It worked like a charm for about two yard mowings, then gave up under its own will. Now I’ll add this one to the landfill and order a steel throttle control lever.

I use this as an add-on throttle control rather than replacing one was already there because my little lawn mower does not have a throttle control. Using this item, I was able to cut it shorter careful not to cut the inside control wire through the housing , then repinned the control wire to insert in a hole in a throttle lever, attaching it to the control point successfully thereby creating for the first time on my lawn mower, a manual throttle control

Does what it should with smooth action. My only concern is that it seems a little flimsy for a mower's needs. Hopefully it'll be more robust than I give it credit for.

Replaced the motor on and "old" mower, this throttle cable worked great, only shortcoming, it is "labeled" opposite of the way this engine works (slow is fast, fast is slow), simply scratched off the labeling.. great product great price.

It's a perfect match for the Briggs and Stratton powered lawnmower, with the single bolt through the handle that secures the throttle. If shipping would have been faster would be five stars.
