I helped getting Comcast Business installed at a charity hall location. Unfortunately my older Arris modem could not be used (not on the approved list) and we took a Comcast modem/router ($20/mon) at time of install. Got this unit and it worked flawlessly. Note, that you do need to call support for them to unregister the Comcast unit and register the MAC and S/N. Easy peasy.
