These pans are a must if you are a watercolor artist. They provide a large surface to mix on. The trays are sturdy and wash clean after each use. Once you use these, you won't want to mix on anything else.

What can you say about an enameled butcher tray? It is what it is.However, there are four very small dots on the bottom - probably where the pan sat on a holder while being painted and run through an oven. Those dots protrude and can very easily scratch a surface.We resolved it with a couple layers of thick tape, but beware.

This is perfect for watercolors are probably acrylic too. It’s so nice. It’s heavy durable and gets the job done.

While it’s not important to the function of the tray, the lip was beaten in few places and paint trim colour was off…it was navy or black…but the tray itself was perfect and functions as intended. Highly recommend

I got these on a prime day for a really good price. I enjoy using a butcher tray when I am painting in watercolor, and sometimes even for gouache. I like the size, and clean up is really easy.

The first one I got was defective. It had holes in the pan that were very sharp. I requested a replacement and got it in two days. I very greatly appreciate that! I use these pans for soft pastels and watercolor. Having the easy to clean surface is why I love butcher pans.

I am using this for acrylic paints. The paint is relatively easily removed from the tray, regardless of whether it is dried thickly or thinly on the surface. It is much easier to clean than the small plastic palette with wells in it (which I had been using previously). Highly recommend.

Although a little rough around the edges, this is a quality product for mixing paint. I have only used it so far to mix gouache and it is brilliant. It has a lovely texture to mix on a sort of semigloss/matt so your paint doesn’t pool and the abrasiveness of the texture helps when mixing colours. It is a nice size too 11”x8” and it washes off lovely. I am very happy with my purchase :)

Good price. Slightly lighter-weight than the traditional, but also significantly cheaper. Arrived slightly warped with a couple of small nicks and dents, but still functional. I use primarily for gouache. I’m glad I found this and took the chance.

Based on other reviews I purchased this product and just got it yesterday and though the measurements are indicated, I thought it was larger so make sure you consider measurements if you want a Large tray. The dark blue border paint was applied sloppily and not all the way around. There are breaks in the dark blue paint and it looks watered down and inconsistent. The center section seems fine. I'll see how long the finish holds up. The metal round edges are a bit sharp and could have been tooled better for safety. It will serve a purpose for now but it's not the best quality for the price.
